TBR list

Since 2018, I’ve written lists of things I’d like to read at the beginning of each year. They provide a little structure for my reading over the following days, or at least function as a bit of a safeguard against choice paralysis.

I’ve sometimes kept to them (and sometimes haven’t) but I figured it’d be nice to have everything I’ve listed in one place, so I can keep track of what’s been read and what hasn’t. Links will be added once I’ve read the work. A (reread) next to the work indicates that I will be rereading it.

(Well, it’ll be interesting to me I guess.)

This will be added to every time I make one of those lists. Only the books on the list will go on here: others I read through the year are extras. Think of this as an eternal version of one of those Planning The Pages posts.

(OK I lied: some other books make it on here. Is there a logic behind how I choose them? MAYBE!)

(OK, I really lied, as now I’m kind of treating this as a way keep track of my reviews, too. IT’S A DOUBLE-WHAMMY, folks.)

To picture my library, add mess.

A list of things I’d like to read; a list undoubtedly bound to remain incomplete
