TBR list

(A list of things I’d like to read; a list undoubtedly bound to remain incomplete.)

Since 2018, I’ve written lists of things I’d like to read at the beginning of each year. They provide a little structure for my reading over the following days, or at least function as a bit of a safeguard against choice paralysis.

I’ve sometimes kept to them (and sometimes haven’t) but I figured it’d be nice to have everything I’ve listed in one place, so I can keep track of what’s not yet been read (or reread).

This will be added to every time I make one of those lists. Only the books on the list will go on here: others I read through the year are extras. Think of this as an eternal version of one of those Planning The Pages posts, only alphabetical.

(OK I lied: some other books make it on here. Is there a logic behind how I choose them? MAYBE!)

Once I’ve read the book it leaves this list. Because a TO BE READ book is not the same as a HAS BEEN READ book (obviously) – you can find a listing of the books that’ve been read on the HBR list.

To picture my library, add mess. (And maybe some sneaky cat urine.)
